Present in the Polish market since 2012 with main office located in Warsaw, Advicero Nexia advises Polish and foreign entities investing on the Polish market. Katarzyna is Managing Partner of Advicero Nexia. Katarzyna is certified Tax Advisor since 2003, gathering professional experience since 2000. During her professional career Katarzyna has worked for international consulting firms, including Big Four (years 2000-2006), starting from 2009 she acts as Partner (till 2012 in an international advisory company, later on in Advicero). Katarzyna specializes in transaction advice. She has broad experience of advising on acquisitions and disposals of assets, in particular in relation to renewable energy and real estate projects, as well as related financial restructuring. Katarzyna has advised and supported numerous restructuring projects, designing solutions to optimize both the transactional and ongoing tax exposure, her experience includes: mergers, liquidations, transformations and in-kind contributions. Katarzyna has acted as an advisor to numerous open-ended or closed investment funds on both transactional and on-going activities, including acquisitions and disposals via asset or share deals, restructurings aimed at tax optimization, obtaining tax exemption for Polish sourced income. Katarzyna has broad experience in advising renewable energy entities, in particular in project acquisition, financing, elaboration business plans, settlement of sale of green certificates. She provides on-going advice for companies active in Renewable Energy, Real Estate and Retail sectors. She also has experience in representing her clients in disputes with tax authorities as well as in front of Administrative Courts. Katarzyna is author of numerous articles in periodicals and business dailies, she is also editor and co-author of the book issued in 2011: “Restructuring of corporations – tax aspects. Katarzyna has been lecturer in numerous trainings, seminars and conferences in Poland and abroad. Katarzyna graduated from Warsaw School of Economics (Master of Economics, 2000). She has also studied at Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck in Austria (1999-2000), graduated from Post-Diploma Studies of European Law at Warsaw University (2003-2004) as well as Executive Leadership programme at INSEAD (2011). She is regularly honored as a as the Best Tax Adviser (rankings of tax advisory companies 2021, 2022, 2023 in the Rzeczpospolita daily – international tax law category and International Tax Review “Women in Tax Leaders” ranking). Sławomir is a Partner in the Advicero Nexia’s tax department. He has been gaining professional experience since 2007 – in 2007-2012, he worked in an international tax consulting company, where he was responsible, among others, for servicing German-speaking customers and Polish enterprises with their interests. Sławomir specializes in servicing entities operating on the commercial real estate market and enterprises from the energy sector – in particular operating in the renewable energy sector. During his professional practice, he took part in servicing the restructuring processes of companies (mergers, transformations and liquidations of companies, share trading, share exchange transactions, creation of holding structures using foreign entities and partnerships) and transactions related to purchase, sale and restructuring of financing of commercial real estate (including transactions made on the Polish market by foreign investment funds). He was also involved in numerous projects related to the tax settlement of companies (Due Diligence and Tax Review), ongoing tax consultancy in the field of corporate taxation for entities operating on the Polish market (VAT and income taxes), analysis of taxation of cross-border transactions, consultancy for foreign entities operating in Poland in the form of branches and agencies, settlements of taxpayers of goods and services tax (VAT Compliance), optimization in the scope of taxation of real estate tax. Sławomir also has experience in proceedings before tax authorities and administrative courts. He is the author of tax publications in the national and foreign press as well as a lecturer at tax trainings and workshops. Sławomir graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics (Master of Economics, Finance and Accounting and Spatial Management), and also studied as part of the JOSZEF program at the Viennese Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Austria (2006-2008). Mirosław is a Partner in the Advicero Nexia’s law department. Tax advisor and legal counsel with extensive experience in handling proceedings and providing tax opinions. He has over 20 years of professional experience. He specializes in the area of tax on goods and services, excise duty, income taxes and tax analysis. Mirosław also has experience in issues related to the civil and tax law and proceedings before tax authorities, administrative courts, as well as the EU Court of Justice. He also participated in many projects connected with the preparation of opinions and procedural documents in the field of administrative law, with particular emphasis on the issue of educational subsidies and road transport. He also has extensive trial experience in matters of social, civil and labor law. He is the author and co-author of book publications on tax issues, in particular the “Commentary on the tax on goods and services” and “Commentary on excise duty” and numerous regular publications in the daily and industry press. He specializes in commentaries and lectures in the field of VAT, excise duty, tax analysis and tax proceedings. He is regularly honored as recommended Tax Adviser in the category Excise Tax. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He advises in Polish and English.
Aneta Bugalska

Aneta has a position of the Accounting & Payroll Partner in Advicero Nexia. She has almost 20 years of professional experience and a license to provide bookkeeping services. During her career, she cooperated with international consulting companies, including in years 2011-2016 with companies from the so-called Big Four. Since 2018 she has been associated with Advicero Nexia. Aneta specializes in accounting of international companies, has extensive experience in the field of taxation, accounting and reporting both in accordance with Polish law as well as IAS and US GAAPS. She participated in many projects in the field of transformation of business entities (mergers, acquisitions, liquidations), tax optimization, reconstruction of accounting books and tax corrections. At Advicero Nexia she oversees the work of the Accounting Department. She graduated from the University of Warsaw with master’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Aneta provides advice in Polish and English.
Dorota Jędrysiak
Accounting Partner
Dorota is a Partner in the accounting department. She has a license for bookkeeping services. She has been gaining experience since 2007. In the years 2007 – 2013 she worked in an international consulting company. Since 2013 she cooperates with Advicero Nexia. The main duties include substantive supervision over the keeping of accounting books, preparation of financial statements and other reports, servicing of tax audits and audits. She graduated from the University of Wrocław at the Faculty of Law and Administration and post-graduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of Finance and Accounting..
